Projects
Cooking Timer Coordinator
Nov. 2018 to Dec. 2018

Created a full stack application that coordinates cooking times in meals, showing a user when to do each step so all their dishes will be done at the same time. Worked in a  group using Agile, Scrum, peer programming methodologies, and test-driven-development. We used a Spring framework coded in java to manage our databases of recipes and ingredients. We built our own API to store recipe information, using postgress to access it from our front end. We used React.js with HTML, CSS, and Javascript to design a responsive front-end. Users can compile meals from various recipes and save them for cooking later, using AJAX requests to write to our repositories.

Greg's Sweaters - Review Website
Oct. 2018 to Nov. 2018

Created a full stack web application presented as a website for reviewing one guy's sweaters. This application uses JPA and H2 databses to model the reviews and dynamically generate HTML with Thymeleaf templates. Javascript is used to make AJAX requests and update the pages, allowing for comments and tags. The HTML is styled with CSS, and the whole project was build with Test-Driven Development principals and Pair Programming.

Ocean's Heart
Mar. 2017 to Current

Independently developed a video game and all assets, making use of the open-source Solarus engine and its API. I program the game using Lua Script, and use Git to manage an iterative process, as well as coordinate between other developers and testers. I've leveraged social media platforms such as Twitter and Discord to generate a community around my game. I also contribute and maintain code and other resources for developers to use in their games, as well as test and write bug reports for the engine.
