  • Was a part of the team that maintained Telus Site Builder, a project built on React and Node.js with Contentful as it's  headless CMS.
  • Involved in building the next generation Site Builder with inline editing using  Next.js and TinaCMS a content management toolkit.
  • Worked with the business and the designers to improve the product using Accessibility, UX/UI best practices.
  • Taught software development skills and best practices to Junior Developers through the Junior Developer Program.

  • Participated in building the next generation myOMERS; an application with a user base of 500 thousand using React and Next.js, Redux and Node.js.
  • Developed the application using ES2020 as well as the most recent React features (16.8) such as Context API and Hooks.
  • Tested the application with Jest and  React Testing Library.
  • Implemented Agile/Scrum processes through biweekly sprints using Azure DevOps and GitLab.

  • Programmed an automated daily performance reports with VBA and Power BI, allowing the company to quickly and accurately assess forecast model discrepancies and adjust accordingly.
  • Spearheaded data automation initiative: led to savings of approx $1M in productive labour, decreased technician non-productive time by 0.5%.

Telus Site Builder
May 2020​ to Current

  • Is a static page generator that ensures consistent Telus Branding across all public facing static Telus websites.
  • Uses Telus Design System Atomic components to compose molecular building blocks.
  • Has approximately 300 pre-approved building blocks to build out pages quickly. These blocks can then be edited, reordered and personalized to specific customer segments and locations allowing a wide array of teams to build marketing pages seamlessly.
  • Currently has over 1000 Telus branded pages built through its pipelines. 

myOMERS
Aug. 2019​ to Current
  • A secure web application that allows members to do administrative and financial tasks seamlessly from the comfort of their homes.
  • Allows members to update communication preferences, check pension information, increase/decrease retirement contributions, access administrative documents, and many more.
  • Built using React and Next.js in the front-end and and Node.js in the back-end.

Oct. 2020​
  • A web application that shortens your URLSs by letting url-trim.shop hash them. This project was built as a primitive version of bit.ly. 
  • Built using  Go in back-end and React with TypeScript on the front-end.
